At a student party a few months ago, I believe. I noticed it pretty quickly, before anyone else saw it. I hope. Do you read more than two morning papers?

My question is if you are male when was the last time you exited the mens room with your flies undone I'm not answering a question here but your question reminded me of something that happened during the mid 50s. I went to Pontypool railway station with a friend of mine, we were both about ten at the time. The station hardly seemed to have altered since Edwardian days, well, we both needed to answer the call of nature and as we were leaving we saw this notice which said "Please adjust your dress before leaving" We looked at each other and I said "What do they mean? we are boys, we don't wear dresses"

We looked at each other and I said "What do they mean? we are boys, we don't wear dresses" Very funny, Jeff! I'll go ahead and answer the question: No, I don't read more than two morning papers, although I sometimes read out-of-town newspapers on line. Have you ever written a fan letter to a movie or television star?

Yes, I have. Over the years, I'd written to Lynda Carter, Joe Besser (one of the latter Three Stooges), Linda Gray and various others. The most recent was Dakota Fanning. Do you still have some of your toys from your childhood? And yes, Jeff, that was definitely an hilarious story from your childhood! That was quite cute! ;D

Do you still have some of your toys from your childhood? Not anymore - the last one was finally broke down 15 years ago; it was a donkey pull-toy I played with as a toddler, it had rollers in its feet instead of wheels. When Timmy learned to walk he believed it was a riding toy, and the poor donkey eventually split its sides. Do you plan to buy new furniture soon?

We had just moved to Wichita from California and had gone to the Century II convention center for a Crafts Show. We evidently left the building through a different door than which we entered, because after walking about 10 or 12 blocks we realized that we were lost and couldn't find our car. Some stranger stopped us and asked us what the problem was and we told him, and it turned out we were walking the opposite direction - by about two miles - from where our car was parked. When was the last time you had to change a flat tire on your vehicle?

Yuck, those things are nasty - my dad would sometimes trick me into thinking they were fried potatoes but it only took one bite to know the difference. :toilet: Oh yeah - the answer to your question is yes. Have you ever eaten kohlrabi? (Another of my dad's favorites)

Many, many, many times! And I've succeeded! The girls are always amazed that I can do a cartwheel at my age, and even stand on my head; yet they can't! Can you walk a tight rope?

I too like fruitcake.
Have you read any good books lately?

Depends on what you call good. Currently I'm re-reading "Four Wagons West, the Story of Seattle", inspired by our recent discovery of "Here Come the Brides" (my decision to read it that is, not the book itself, it was written in 1931 and I bought it as a "reprint" 15 years ago). I knew the TV show was fiction, of course, and pulled the book down to show my son the real story about brides being brought to Seattle by water. Have you ever visited the Northwest?

Who is your idol?

Have you ever made your own wine/beer?

Post by annavandenhazel on Apr 29, 2008 12:29:37 GMT -6
Sort of - a time or 2 I've found an old bottle of fruit juice in the back of the fridge that smelled like wine when opened. But even if I was a drinker I'm not too sure I'd want to drink THAT! P.S. Years ago my uncle accidently made vinegar out of wine, and I think it ended up the same place as my fruit juice. Have you ever made your own cheese or sour cream that was fit to eat?
