A few new avatars have been added to the Diner's avatar database, for your convenience! I plan to add some newer ones over the next few weeks, and delete some older avatars which have been unused. Watch for changes in the coming weeks!

At this time, I would like to further add that some of you may be missing some avatars during this conversion process. This is due to the fact that many avatars have been deleted and some of them are in the process of being converted to new file names, therefore breaking the link to the original file name you may have in your profile.
I apologize for the inconvenience, but please bear with me during this conversion process. Once completed, you may select a new avatar (or perhaps your original avatar's new file name, if applicable), and adjust it in your profile settings.
Thanks for your patience!

At this point, I have uploaded numerous avatars of female classic and silent movie actresses. The ones I have chosen certainly do not include every actress there was from that era.
If any Diner member does not see an avatar for an actress he/she would like to use for his/her profile, please send me a PM so that, if possible, I can add it to the list of avatars.

To All Diner Patrons: I understand that there has been some confusion about the avatar changes, and I wish to offer my sincerest apologies for this confusion. The primary problem has been with members not being able to change one's avatar after I have deleted an avatar which may have been in use. Hence the two illustrations below: ILLUSTRATION #1:ILLUSTRATION #2:In order for you to change your avatar in your Profile section, note the three fields in the red circle in the first illustration (Avatar URL; Avatar Width; Avatar Height). As depicted in the second illustration, you must delete these three fields before selecting one of the new avatars in the drop down menu. If you fail to delete especially the "Avatar URL" field, your avatar selection will not be saved upon clicking the "Modify Profile" button at the bottom of the Profile page. I apologize once again for the confusion and also for not being very clear on how to adjust your profile settings.

Diner Members, Although I have been at a standstill for the past few days, I have compiled more avatars for your use. I have just uploaded 40 more avatars — this time with the male actors! Keep in mind that this project is not yet complete! This means that if you are using any of the older avatars, they still could disappear; I would strongly recommend not getting too attached to any of the older ones. Stay tuned ....
