I haven't seen either movie, but according to imdb.com, there is no monkey in the cast list of Any Which Way You Can. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.
Hmmm - perhaps the commercial for "Any Which Way You Can" used a monkey just to entice people to watch the movie? (Kinda like the theatre trailer for "Stayin' Alive", they showed dancing women who wore little more than paint even though there was no such scene in the actual movie).
