I have the pleasure of driving a lot of different people around in my job as the shuttle driver at the Hyatt Regency Hotel here in Wichita. A few weeks ago I had a gentleman named Fred Lee in the van and were talking about Walt Disney movies, and how most of the animated films of late have not been on par with those of classic Disney era. The lady accompanying him asked me if I read very many books and I replied, "only those that get me in the first five or six pages". She suggested that I read Fed's new book called "IF DISNEY RAN YOUR HOSPITAL - 9 1/2 Thing You Would Do Differently". I mentioned that I had not heard of the book, but the title sounded very intriguing. Mr. Lee then asked for my mailing address, and when we got to the Hotel I gave it to him and in a couple of weeks I received a hard cover edition of his book totally autographed to me. I was pleasantly surprised. This is a very interesting book told from a totally different perspective. It is a refreshing look at today's modern medicine and "those brick buildings that house all those guys who are supposed to know what they are doing to fix what ails you." Very good read at just 215 pages and will give you a whole new outlook on doctors, and hospitals. I highly recommend it.

Yes, it does sound like a good read. I will look for it next time I'm at the bookstore. Just recently, Al and I saw Sicko, which is well worth seeing if you are an American who is concerned about our increasingly dysfunctional health care system.
