Thanks for the link, Kelly! It's too bad they don't show any clips from that film, only a still of Chaplin in his Keystone Kops costume. I guess that's to make sure that people will pay money to see the film in a theatre or buy the video.

Yeah I think they waiting for get clearance show the movie maybe be release on DVD or show on TCM someday that be cool to find out

It was the star attraction this past weekend at Slapsticicon in Arlington, VA. It's called "The Thief Catcher" and it's a 1 reeler with Ford Sterling. Chaplin's in it for about 1 minute, and supposedly he's very funny.

This sounds like a fun role reversal for Charlie, playing a police when he was the most famous for a tramp living on the outer edge of society. He did end up playing a policeman quite successfully in Easy Street of course. What a great find, I'd love to see it!
