The Staff and Volunteers of the KS Silent Film Festival are having a meeting tomorrow to discuss the itinerary of next year's annual event in February. Over the past month, my wife has been diligently working on new cut-out standees for the KSFF stage. Here, she proudly displays the Charles Chaplin standee, which was her first one to be completed: Since the completion of the Chaplin, she has completed three of Buster Keaton, and she is working on Laurel & Hardy and Lillian Gish; there are many more to come. We will also be taking the Keaton standees with us to the meeting tomorrow so that they can be used for the Buster Keaton celebration in Iola, Kansas next month. (To keep up with KSFF happenings, you can now follow us on Twitter at twitter.com/kssilentfilm.) I hope I'll see many of you at the 15th Annual KS Silent Film Festival, where Annette D'Agostino Lloyd will be our Special Guest!!!

Wow, that's impressive! TC, you did a great job. I'm curious: how do you create one of those things?
