My daughter and I went today to see "Enchanted" and as I was leaving the cinema I thought tc would love this movie. It is a Disney film and starts out with an animation story similar to "Cinderella" (little creatures singing and helping to make a wedding dress) for Giselle. She is on her way to her wedding when she is pushed down a wishing well and lands in the middle of New York City. It is now live action and she has many adventures before she finds her true love. Susan Sarandon plays the wicked Queen and Eric Idle plays her unwilling partner in crime but the other players are unfamiliar. I am sure Erica and Dayla would also love it. Recommended.

I really did try - I downloaded the Java software but couldn't get through. We even went to the early session of the movie so I could be back in time. Now I have the Java software all ready to go - maybe I will find it easier next time.

Diane, I am sorry and feel so badly that you went through all that, especially since you have been saddened that you couldn't make it to previous chat sessions either. Your hours are slightly different than mine, but Midge is often awake during the hours I am not. If you happen to catch her online at the same time as you, perhaps she may unlock the chat room for you so you two can experiment and find out what it takes to get you into the chat room. (Back on topic, however, I will try to watch for this movie to alert TC to it. )

Uh-oh, I'm not sure how much help I'll be. I'm not that computer-savvy. But I'm willing to give it a try, Diane.

The work would really be done on Diane's end, Midge; the only efforts for you would merely be to open the chat room for her to try various things.

This is a very good movie with Dr. McDreamy from "Grey's Anatomy", Patrick Dempsey and James Marsden as the two guys vying for Giselle's hand. Giselle is played by Amy Adams, and this movie is just the right film for the holidays. Some great music, narration by Julie Andrews, and a mix of animation and live-action from Walt Disney, the best studio for this type of film. A holiday treat for the whole family.

My darling wife, Beverly and I went to see this movie for the fourth time this weekend, and this time it was to count how many other Disney films this movie paid tribute to. Between us we came with 27 different Disney films. There are a lot of obvious ones, like the witch from Snow White & Seven Dwarfs, and the name of the restaurant "Belle Notte" which is from "Lady and the Tramp". This is gonna be a great addition to the DVD collection when it is released later this year.
