Do you have a wind-up clock ?

I've always tried to keep one around in case of power failures, but my last one died 6 months ago and the store only had a brand which has proved unreliable in the past. The so-called "solar-powered" clock (it runs on batteries) I bought instead keeps losing time and I'm about ready to get another wind-up clock to replace it!
Do you own a grandfather clock?

No, only Mama, Papa and Baby clocks. Have you ever found a treasure at a flea market, garage sale or jumble sale?

A few years ago I was helping a gentleman unload his trailer for a flea market at the local Drive-In Theater, and I accidentally knocked over a box of records (45 rpm and some even had the original picture sleeves). After picking up the mess I had made, I asked the gentleman how much he was asking for each of the records, and he just looked at me and smiled and said, "payment for helping me get this stuff unloaded". Long story short, I went to a record swap meet a couple of months later and made over $300 from those 45's.
Have you ever rented a table to sell things at a flea market?

Yes - last year when my co-workers and I were returning from a trip to Albuquerque we stopped at a garage sale and I bought a "Precious Moments" Golden Book with sound for 10 cents - made a great Christmas gift for my 3-year-old nephew. Have you ever spent more than you should on an antique purchase?

Yes, I once bought an album of 78 rpm Victrola records for more than they were probably worth, but it was fun to listen to them.
Is there a purchase you regret not making?

54 years of driving and never any sort of ticket, parking or otherwise. I follow all the rules of the road, follow the speed limit, stop behind the proper white line at intersections, etc. I would not know how to act if I ever had any type of ticket.
