I'm not sure what "clockwork alarm clock" is, but if it is the same as an AM-FM clock radio then yes, we have one of those.

I'm not sure what "clockwork alarm clock" is, but if it is the same as an AM-FM clock radio then yes, we have one of those. Midge, I suspect that "clockwork" means a keywound alarm clock that doesn't use electricity or batteries. I insist on keeping one around in case the lights go out, I did have a battery operated analog alarm clock for a few months but it was always losing time even with fresh batteries so I searched for a new non-electrical clock and got rid of it.Now in answer to the question - we have digital cable TV. Do you have HD radio or HD TV?

Hard to say - sometimes I like listening to pop, sometimes country, sometimes rock...I'll listen to just about anything if it's not TOO weird or disgusting (like the stuff Glenn and his friends were listening to when we went to Oregon). What kind of car do you drive?

We have two cars, a 1987 Honda Accord LX sedan and a 1993 Geo Prizm LS sedan. They're old cars, but both have extremely low mileage and they've got a lot of life left in them.

Great question! I would probably get a crossover such as the Lexus RX that would be comfortable for long road trips. For driving in town, I'd like something small, sporty and easy to park like the Mini Cooper.
What car would you drive if you could choose anything regardless of cost?

No, not particularly. The classic 60's models are nice looking, but I don't care for the looks of the new ones.

Yes, but without a date. Patrick and Deann (the now-married couple in my reunion photo posted 3 weeks ago) let me ride with them, along with Brynhild, our Danish foreign-exchange student who lived with Deann's famly and had just broken up with her boyfriend the day before (said boyfriend later married the younger sister of another classmate and he was killed in a 4-wheeling accident over a year ago). Pat went around telling people he had 3 dates for the prom. What was your favorite high school activity/event?

Did you ever have a crush on one of your teachers?

Post by annavandenhazel on Sept 15, 2011 13:12:51 GMT -6
Not really - a new, young science teacher was cute but he was always swearing in class (in 1979 even the "bad" kids were shocked to hear profanity from teachers) so I didn't "flip out" over him. He only lasted a year, I don't know whether he got a better position elsewhere or if somebody told the school board about his language.
Did you ever have a crush on a fellow student and actually did something about it?
