Not this year. We are going to someone's house for Easter dinner. We rotate among six families, so we have a couple more years before we host the Easter dinner.
Are you dining in or dining out for Easter?

How many houseplants do you have?
Post by dvdjunkie on Apr 14, 2012 8:54:11 GMT -6
ZERO!!!!! The running joke here in Wichits is if you want to kill off a plant quickly, let the Winger's have it. (That's us!) We have no luck at all trying to get plants to grow indoors.
Do have a small garden that you tend to?
Post by Midge on Apr 14, 2012 15:27:27 GMT -6
No, there are a few struggling plants in the back yard, but I can barely keep the house plants alive.
Are you doing anything fun this weekend?
Post by dvdjunkie on Apr 16, 2012 15:33:55 GMT -6
Yes. This weekend (April 21-22) our four-wheel club is having our fourth annual "Flex For Food" event. We will have over 20 vehicles on display and an opportunity for everyone to get "crawling" experience over some rocks. The Christian Off-Road Association (CORA) uses this event to raise money and food for the Kansas Food Bank. Last year we raised over $5,000 in cash donations, and over 1,000 pounds of donated canned food.
What are you doing this weekend?

That sounds like a really good cause, Bill. I don't have any plans, but I might go to the Farmer's Market on Sunday with my friend Margaret. Have you watched any baseball games this season?

Post by annavandenhazel on Apr 19, 2012 13:44:56 GMT -6
No, and I"m not likely to watch more than a few minutes of one on TV. (Whether or not I get dragged to a live game is another story)

Not until this past weekend. A good friend of our daughter was moving out of state and they were unloading a lot of stuff and when they offered the outdoor patio set, 6 chairs and a 12-foot round table with retractable umbrella, she didn't say no. It looks pretty good on our deck.
