Despite all its well-known and much-discussed shortcomings, I think TV news does the best job at covering breaking news. For more depth, I read the newspaper or go to online sources.

I don't have a bedspread, just a bunch of blankets that should probably be replaced because they've shrunk over time and are too short to tuck in properly.
How many blankets do you have on your bed right now?

No blankets, just a duvet on top of sheets. On the (very rare) days when it's too warm here for a duvet, I use a light cotton summer blanket instead. To paraphrase the TV commercial: What's in your wallet? (You don't have to say how much money is in there.  |

Too many things - in fact I have 2 separate mini wallets for the cards that don't fit - seldom-used membership/store discount cards in one, credit cards in another. And only a little bit of change at present, I need to visit the bank.

I don't have a favorite summer TV program, but I always look forward to the pops concerts and fireworks displays that are broadcast on the Fourth of July.

Several people - and the most extreme case is Ron Jones, whom some of you may know as the Route 66 Tattoo Man. I think he has like 50 tattoos that are mostly Route 66 themed.

Yes, my new favorite summer pastime is riding my bike, since I just got it refurbished and tuned up after having spent 15 years in the garage with flat tires gathering dust.

The best thing about summer is that I don't have to worry about driving in bad weather, and the worst part is sweltering temperatures.

No, I'm too short to look good in boots and have never worn cowboy boots --- they look SO uncomfortable!  -- but I have a pair of black vinyl rainboots that are in the cowboy boot style. What was your best subject in school? |

White - soft wheat is OK, but I hate the kind that has fibers or bits of oatmeal, they always get lodged uncomfortably in my teeth.
